ESTABLISHMENT OFFICE BEARERS AIMS AND OBJECTIVES ACHIEVEMENTS

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS OF FEDERATION OF BUNTS ASSOCIATIONS
1. Publication of international Bunts’ Directory containing the addresses of 14,000 members of 21
affiliated Bunts Sanghas in 1991.
2. Publication of Bunts Panorama – An authentic review of Bunts Community in erstwhile
Dakshina Kannada and Kasargod Districts after conducting door to door survey during 1995.
3. Held first world Bunts Convention in Bangalore under the auspices of Federation of Bunts Associations, Bunts Sangha Bangalore hosting the convention in December 1995.
4. Creation of world Bunts Foundation Trust, an independent service wing of the Federation of
Bunts Associations, with its own bye-laws in 1995
5. Keeping rapport with the Bunt Community all over the world and help to formation of more and
more Bunts Sanghas as evident from the fact that number of such Sanghas has  increased
from 21 in 1987 to 43 in 2000.
6. Conducting training programmes for candidates taking BSRB test, Civil Service Examination    
and Students appearing for common Entrance test (CET) for admission to professional      
colleges administered by Government of Karnataka.  
7. Conducting free medical check up camps for the poor members of the community, attending to 
their surgical operating free of cost providing hearing aids, spectacles, calipers, wheel chairs
for the disabled etc.
8. Honouring outstanding members of the community for their excellence in different professions,
sports and academic etc.
9. Conducting Inter Bunts Sangha literary, art & Cultural meet
