Responsibilities Of Communities:- |
||
In Tulunaadu, every community has its own responsibilities to perform during Bhootha worship of that area. The leader in that area with social respect and who keeps every one together is known as Gurikara. The Gurikara settles disputes within their community and society, and if the disputes are not settled by him, then such cases are brought to the presence of Bhootha during festival, and the disputes are settled there . So, Bhoothas means satya which became the social communication media, judging the society, helping them to maintain communal harmony. We can see influence of Bhootha in other religions such as Jainism, Brahmins , They accepted Bhootha worship and built Bhootha shrines. Besides that some of Bhoothas spirits are elevated to the status of Gods. |
